The Ruin Sentinels are a new type of enemy found on Inazuma, best known for his downfalls from Chaos Gear, Chaos Axis, and Chaos Oculus in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact players need these new mayhem to rise up with Inazuma’s new weapons. So far, it includes Amenoma Kageuchi, Katsuragiriki Nagamasa, Kitain Cross Spear, and Mistsplitter Reforged. More weapons may require these drops in the future.
Defeating these new enemies shouldn’t be a problem for most Genshin Impact players. That said, they must first find the Ruins Sentinels before they can claim the new loot they drop. As a result, some Genshin Impact players are turning to guides to help find the locations of the Ruin Sentinels.
Five Great Farming Locations for Ruin Sentinels at Genshin Impact
# 5 – Tatarasuna
This is a strange cultivation place, given that the Ruins Sentinels reappear in strange ways. Genshin Impact players only need to climb up the wall (near the Elecroculus) and go down to force the Ruin Sentinels to respawn here.
There are still two Ruins Sentinels here. It is close to a Teleport Waypoint, especially since one can slide from there to here.
# 4 – Narukami Center
More specifically, this location is south of Momiji’s Dyed Court Domain. Alternatively, Genshin Impact players can find it by going to the Teleport Waypoint southwest of it and sliding down.
This location is visited during the search for Orobashi’s Legacy and uses Electrograna to drain the water. In this area, Genshin Impact Players will fight three Ruin Sentinels.
# 3 – Fort Mumei
In Fort Mumei, there are four Ruin Sentinels that Genshin Impact players can destroy for their loot. Sadly, the closest teleport to this location is to the northeast of the continent near Tatarasuna. Therefore, it is quite far from being immediately cultivated.
These Ruin Sentinels are found outdoors here, so Genshin Impact players can’t miss. Given how small and flat the island is, they should pick up on these enemies right away.
Players are advised to complete Orobashi’s Legacy to reduce unnecessary thunderstorms in the area.
# 2 – Araumi (underground)
These Sentinels of the Ruins appear to be prowling the shoreline. However, appearances are deceptive, as players will not immediately detect these Ruin Sentinels if they go to this location.
Instead, Genshin Impact players need the Memento Lens and must also progress through the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual to reach the underground area in Araumi. Once players go to this location, they should notice a large group of Ruin Sentinels in this area.
It’s also conveniently close to the next entry on this list, making growing them even better.
# 1 – Araumi (on the ground)
Four sentinels of ruin roam Araumi on the ground around the place circled in red. They are not dangerous individually, but they can hurt players when they are all grouped together.
Fortunately, the terrain here often prevents them from grouping together, meaning that Genshin Impact players can easily battle two of them and then go around the corner to attack the remaining two.
The image above shows a common place for players to find them. The main reason this is number one on this list is because of the amount it generates here and how easy it is to access.
Genshin Impact players must start on this island in Inazuma, so that they can access this area before some of those mentioned above.
