Timbaland and Swizz Beatz claim they haven’t seen Triller’s money after the massive delay reduction. The musicians and businessmen are suing the video platform for breach of contract, saying Triller owes them $28 million in back pay on the music battle series after the company bought delay in January 2021. According to a filing obtained by Vulture, Triller made payments in January and April 2021, but failed to make the next required payment of $18 million in January 2022. After changing its payment agreement, Triller made a payment in February and then continued to stop making the payments (set at $1 million each month, on top of the $18 million). Their new deal allowed Timbaland and Swizz to accelerate remaining payments if Triller missed a payment, so they are suing for the full amount Triller owes, $28 million.
