Like us previously Silento was arrested earlier this year for his alleged role in the murder of his cousin. Now he is asking a judge to grant him bail so that he can be released from jail.
According to TMZ, filed documents in DeKalb County requesting that the court set his bond at $ 25,000. He assures that if he is released, he will not flee. In the documents, he states that “it is not an extraordinary bail risk and will not endanger the safety of the community if he is released on bail.”
The site went on to say that Silento said denying him bail is both “unfair” and “unconstitutional.” A bond hearing has been scheduled for later this month.
In February, the 23-year-old was charged with the murder of his 34-year-old cousin Frederick Rooks.
The incident report indicated that Rooks was found Jan. 21 in the Panthersville area after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities said they believe he may have met someone in the area where he was found. Images were collected from the surrounding security cameras. Authorities were able to see several cars leaving the area and at least one shot fired.
Before that incident, Silento also had a run-in with the law where he was detained for speeding.
