Following reports that Tommy Dreamer will not appear on IMPACT Wrestling recordings this weekend, the company has officially announced that Dreamer has been suspended indefinitely.

Mike Johnson by PWInsider reported further details, noting that Dreamer was asked to leave immediately. He has not commented on the matter as of this writing.
It was also stated in the email that “Dreamer was asked to immediately leave” the company’s Nashville, TN offices, “Johnson wrote. Anyone with questions or concerns was said to be able to reach out to Nordholm, Gail Kim or Scott D’Amore.
The comments made by Tommy Dreamer came during his interview with VICE for his latest episode of “Dark Side of The Ring,” which delved into the story of 2002’s “Plane Ride From Hell.” In this now-famous incident, several superstars from WWE / F became extremely loud, abused substances and had physical altercations during a flight back to the United States after a European tour.
During the episode, VICE interviewed former flight attendant Heidi Doyle, who would later take legal action against WWE after the flight. Doyle alleged that Ric Flair engaged in inappropriate actions with her on the flight. During his interview on the show, Dreamer got into serious trouble with the Doyle charges, saying:
… Hey, he’s nature’s boy for a reason … Ric Flair won’t try to force any sexual thing on anyone, “Dreamer said.” He just flaunts, styles, and profiles, doing the Ric Flair stuff where everyone will laugh about it. But obviously someone was offended by it. “(H / t Fighter)
Tommy Dreamer went on to suggest that all Doyle wanted was to “accept payment” and made several other controversial statements about the incident.

Several other fighters, including RVD and Ric Flair, have commented on the incident. Flair addressed Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast before the show aired to discuss the topic.
