Globe obtains three victories in the 18th edition of the International Business Awards

Globe took home three awards at the recent 18th Annual International Business Awards. The company took a Gold Stevie to the Most Valuable Corporate Response for keeping its employees and customers #SafeAtHome during the pandemic.

Considered outstanding, Globe’s “COVID response was based on communication and people, meeting many needs that suddenly hit the social and workplace scene. There was a clear and direct vision. The response was broad and quick, and it made a significant difference for people who were isolated. “

Some of Globe’s award-winning programs include Globe Labs, its own PCR testing facility, Thursday By The Desk, which discouraged meetings every Thursday to make way for uninterrupted, productive work, and HopeChat, which connects employees with mental health experts via Messenger. .

Globe also earned a Silver Stevie for Achievement in Human Resources for its various initiatives on employee engagement, digital support, holistic wellness, and learning and development that have improved the organization’s relationship with its employees. According to Willis Towers Watson’s 2020 iSpeak Employee Engagement Survey, employee engagement was 93%, the highest in five years, despite the challenges of the pandemic. Globe is the only Philippine company that is part of the WTW High Performance Organizations.
