Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group Promotes Lisa-Renee Ramirez – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Byron Allen Allen Media Group (AMG) announced today that Lisa-Renee Ramirez has been promoted to President of Lifestyle Networks. Ramírez’s previous title was Executive Vice President and Executive Producer of AMG Television, a title he has held since starting AMG in 2008.

In his new role, Ramírez will continue to oversee the creation, production and programming of content for three AMG television networks with lifestyle themes: Recipe.TV, MyDestination.TV and Pets.TV. In addition to directing these networks, Ramírez will continue as Executive Producer and director of the multiple award-winning television series of the networks.

The various AMG series that Ramírez has developed have won five Taste Awards while earning Recipe.TV an induction into the Taste Awards Hall of Fame. This fall, Ramírez will appear at the annual Taste Awards Tasteful Diary magazine as one of its “leaders and creators of flavor”.

A 16-time Emmy® Award winner for her previous production work throughout her career, Ramírez, most recently, on behalf of AMG, earned four Emmy® nominations in the last three years in a row (2019-21). In 2019, chef / host Catherine Fulvio received an Emmy® nomination for “Outstanding Culinary Host” for the series. A Taste of Ireland: Ballyknocken Cookery School.

In 2020, Ramírez was nominated twice for “Best Director” for two food and travel series that he developed, produced and directed: Kate Parla’s ROME! other Vera’s Latin America: Panama. In 2021, the series that Ramírez developed, Paris bistro cooking with Edward Delling-Williams, AMG earned its second Emmy® nomination for “Outstanding Culinary Host” for chef / host Edward Delling-Williams.
