For some people, that’s fine, many people, fall is pumpkin spice season. For me, though, it’s soup season, or at least the beginning anyway.
While my husband and I enjoy a hot bowl of soup every once in a while in the summer, the cooler temperatures and shorter days mean we’re ready to go all-in on a pot of something good bubbling on the stove. Even better, much of the seasonal produce that hits the markets, including pumpkins, apples, carrots, and potatoes, is ideal for that type of meal.
